join Senior Yoga Teacher Sarah Williams for her signature Yoga Teacher Mentoring programme at Luna Wave.

programme OVERVIEW

This programme was developed to inspire yoga teachers and trainees to reflect on and integrate the philosophical teachings of yoga within the yoga studio setting. The heart of this programme is YOU as a student and how that feeds into who you are as a teacher making it fundamentally different from other trainings.

This programme will guide you to examine your values and contribution as a teacher and how they can and should be rooted in the philosophical principles of yoga. Through a combination of lecture, discussion, support and practice this five month investigation will move beyond the limitations of what is often taught in foundational teacher trainings.

This programme is aimed at

those who are:

  • willing and ready to ask difficult questions of themselves and modern postural yoga

  • excited to develop a better understanding of self in order to make meaningful contributions to the yoga community

  • interested in stripping traditional approaches to asana away from practice and prioritise somatic inquiry

  • dedicated to practicing and teaching principles that promote safety, inclusivity and curiosity

  • committed to being a student first

  • ready to rethink asana and reductive anatomical overthinking

  • curious about working with the nervous system and whole-being practice

  • This programme takes place in person over the course of five monthly sessions through the Winter and Spring of 2026.

It is a time for self-reflection and to gain clarity on your integrity around yoga.

This is a low-cost inclusive and supportive programme to inspire, support and enable you to harness actionable tools that are congruent with your vision as a student and a teacher. Now more than ever students need to feel safe and to be supported in the present moment.
